Dear Sir or Madam
I have a photo taken in 1921 of my grand dad at the Armistace Day service at the Holy Trinity Cross in Thornhill Gardens. He was the Standard Bearer. Last Rembrance Sunday, my son, grand son and I visited the Cross. It was sad to see no poppies there. We laid a wooden poppy cross observed the two miniets silence and left.
Are there any records of the 1921 service and when were services at the Cross halted. I beleve there is a plaque in the church which the Cross refures to.

Good that all knew God would protect them from the rioters. That is what they wanted to close down the city, and the MPs fell for it. Glad someone continued but the MPs haven’t your faith. All the very best to for not wavering. Hope more children will come.
